Our application system is now live and officially able to accept registrations from producers, traders and users of non-wood fuels.  Applications are already being processed and once these have been rigorously checked to make sure that they meet the greenhouse gas emissions threshold and land criteria requirements, we will issue our first SFR numbers.

We are expecting to experience relatively high demand for the service in the initial stages but aim to complete desk based reviews within 20 working days of an application being submitted.
